We look at a volume object with two eyes.
Behind the Scenes
Your eyes receive two different 2D images, as viewed from different perspective points. The left eye looks from its own position and sees image "A", the right eye from its position sees image "B".
Processing
The brain processes and combines the flat images "A" and "B", creating a single 3-dimensional image.

The Beginning
From the start, we have two 2D images "A" and "B" of one 3-dimensional object, taken at a different angle.
Preparation
We cut them into strips, and then we sequentially arrange these strips into a single image.
Alternating sequence
Lenticula Store creates a Print using alternating sequences A and B to make one whole image.

Lens
From this point, we take the image and place a film/thin lens over it.
And Voila!
Thanks to the fact that our eyes look at a lens under a different corner, each eye sees only one picture. The left eye sees only the image "A", the right eye - only the image "B".
